[Critical review of the literature on psychogenetic factors in cancer diseases (author's transl)].

The author reviews the literature on various psychic ethiopathogenic approaches of cancer and reminds the main methodological critics. He comes to the conclusion that these criticisms are similar to those in psychosomatic medicine. He believes the monistic psychobiological theory to be the most pertinent at present. The technic of associative investigations, of a dialectic nature, is proposed as a methodological instrument in the frame of psychosomatic research in cancer.
