The authors report the case of a 54 year old man with a tamponade and a serohemorrhagie pericarditis. From the cytology of the pericardiac liquid, a neoplastic origin is suspected and confirmed by the secondary appearance of pulmonary primitive localization responsible for death. The low frequency of such a mean of revelation is underlined together with the difficulties of an etiological diagnosis.
