Abstract
The mutation in hypoxanthine phosphoribosyl transferase gene and the induction of sister chromatid exchange (SCE) were comparatively studied treating Chinese hamster ovary cells with the mutagens ethylmethanesulphonate. N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine, Mitomycin C and X-ray. All the agents exerted strong mutagenic effects and showed a dose-dependent relationship for the induction of SCEs.

用诱变剂甲磺酸乙酯、N-甲基-N'-硝基-N-亚硝基胍、丝裂霉素C和X射线处理中国仓鼠卵巢细胞，比较研究次黄嘌呤磷酸核糖基转移酶基因的突变和姐妹染色单体交换（SCE）的诱导情况。所有这些试剂都产生了强烈的诱变作用，并且在诱导SCE方面呈现出剂量依赖性关系。
