Abstract
An indoxyl method for identification of esterase with the use of the classical method of argentation after Campos of nerve elements is described. As a result, the nerve trunks, adducting nerve fibres and terminal ramifications of the axon being impregnated with silver nitrate become brown-black, whereas the sites of distribution of axo-muscular synapses acquire bleu colouration.
