Abstract
The regeneration of rabbit aortic endothelium was studied by autoradiography using 3H-thymidine. A decrease in the 3H-thymidine labelling index and in the mitotic rate with advancing age were found but no significant differences in the endothelial cell turnover between aortic segments with and without flow-mechanical stresses.

采用³H-胸腺嘧啶核苷放射自显影法研究了兔主动脉内皮的再生。结果发现，随着年龄增长，³H-胸腺嘧啶核苷标记指数和有丝分裂率均降低，但在有和没有血流机械应力的主动脉段之间，内皮细胞更新无显著差异。
