Abstract
This report describes the treatment of a Viet Nam veteran with an α(2)-adrenergic agonist (clonidine) for hypertension which had an additional beneficial effect of allowing withdrawal in ten days from 20 mg of methadone a day with minimal withdrawal symptoms.

本报告描述了一名越南退伍军人使用α（2）-肾上腺素能激动剂（可乐定）治疗高血压的情况，该药物还有一个额外的有益效果，即能使患者在十天内从每天20毫克美沙酮的用量中撤药，且撤药症状轻微。
