Abstract
A 29-year-old-man with a 7-year history of bilateral chronic uveitis developed subretinal neovascularisation in the macular area of his right eye. There was a history suggesting sarcoidosis. Long-term therapy with systemic corticosteroids decreased the activity of the uveitis, and the subretinal neovascularisation changed into a cystic scar. After the systemic corticosteroids were discontinued there was a recurrence of the uveitis but not of the subretinal neovascularisation.

一名患有双侧慢性葡萄膜炎7年的29岁男性，右眼黄斑区出现视网膜下新生血管。有提示结节病的病史。全身使用皮质类固醇进行长期治疗降低了葡萄膜炎的活动度，视网膜下新生血管转变为囊性瘢痕。停用全身皮质类固醇后，葡萄膜炎复发，但视网膜下新生血管未复发。
