Abstract

Distinguishing between anomalous elevation of the optic disc caused by buried drusen and true papilledema can often be clinically difficult. In a prospective study of 18 children with drusen of the optic disc B-scan ultrasonography with a lowered sensitivity was found to be useful in the uncooperative child. A rational approach to the investigation of elevation of the optic disc in children is offered.

区分埋藏性玻璃疣引起的视盘异常隆起与真性视乳头水肿在临床上常常颇具难度。在一项针对18例视盘玻璃疣患儿的前瞻性研究中,发现灵敏度降低的B超检查对不配合的患儿很有用。本文提供了一种针对儿童视盘隆起进行检查的合理方法。
