Adenomatoid tumor of the epididymis. Ultrastructural study of three cases.

Three cases of Adenomatoid Tumor of the Epididymis are presented. In these cases the ultrastructural and histochemical study is similar. The adenoid structures of the tumor were lined by epithelial cells with well differentiated microvilli, junction complexes and intercellular channels. The stroma was formed of bundles of collagen and elastic fibers. Acid mucopolysaccharides were found in the tubular structures of the tumor. This study supports the mesothelial origin of the Adenomatoid Tumor.
