[Diffusion of cefotaxime in the interstitial fluid of rabbits. Comparison with cefazolin, cefoxitin and cefamandole (author's transl)].

The diffusion of cefotaxime compared with that of cefazolin, cefoxitin and cefamandole in the interstitial fluid has been studied in rabbits. The different antibiotics were administered intramuscularly at a dose of 30 mg/kg by injection. Serum concentrations were determined at 30 minutes, 2, 4, 8 and 12 hours following the injection.
