Twenty patients with perennial rhinitis took part in a double-blind, randomized, cross-over comparison of flunisolide nasal spray (Syntaris; Syntex) and its vehicle. The sprays were used twice daily for 4 weeks and a total daily dose of 200 micrograms flunisolide was used. Flunisolide was superior to the placebo in relieving sneezing, runny nose and nose-blowing (P less than 0,05). Patient and doctor treatment preferences were significantly in favour of the active spray. Side-effects were mainly confined to nasal irritation and occurred equally in both treatment groups.
20名常年性鼻炎患者参与了一项双盲、随机、交叉对照试验，比较氟尼缩松鼻喷雾剂（Syntaris；先灵葆雅公司）及其赋形剂。喷雾剂每日使用两次，共使用4周，氟尼缩松的每日总剂量为200微克。在缓解打喷嚏、流鼻涕和擤鼻涕方面，氟尼缩松优于安慰剂（P<0.05）。患者和医生的治疗偏好明显倾向于活性喷雾剂。副作用主要局限于鼻腔刺激，且在两个治疗组中发生率相同。
