[Effect of hemodex on the phagocytic activity of peritoneal macrophages in vitro].

The author examined the influence of hemodex (SMT 70 000), high molecular and mean molecular fractions of the same on the phagocytic activity in vitro. The experiments were carried out on macrophages of white mice "Swiss", treated with the preparations for one to ten days. She found that VMF and hemodex after a five-day treatment induced an increase of the phagocytic activity in respect to sheep erythrocytes in comparison with the control group.
