In 113 patients with coronary disease finger rheoplethysmography was used to study the duration of the hemodynamic effect of nitroglycerin drugs of prolonged action (NDPA) as compared to placebo. Nitrong and sustac in doses of 2.5 and 2.6 mg, respectively, were effective 1 1/2 and 2 h, on the average; in doses of 6.5 and 6.4 mg--4 1/2 and 3 1/2 h, and in doses of 13 and 12.8 mg--5 1/2 and 4 1/2 h, respectively. The duration of the effect of NDPA and nitroglycerin (0.5 mg) given sublingually varied greatly in some patients from entire absence of any effect to rather prolonged action. The duration of NDPA and nitroglycerin (0.5 mg) action closely correlated, which enables prognosing the hemodynamic effect of NDPA.
在113例冠心病患者中，采用手指体积描记法研究长效硝酸甘油药物（NDPA）与安慰剂相比的血流动力学效应持续时间。Nitrong和sustac剂量分别为2.5和2.6mg时，平均起效时间分别为1.5小时和2小时；剂量为6.5和6.4mg时，分别为4.5小时和3.5小时；剂量为13和12.8mg时，分别为5.5小时和4.5小时。在一些患者中，NDPA和舌下含服硝酸甘油（0.5mg）的效应持续时间差异很大，从完全无效应到作用时间相当长。NDPA和硝酸甘油（0.5mg）的作用持续时间密切相关，这有助于预测NDPA的血流动力学效应。
