Abstract
Testosterone, LH, FSH, PRL, and sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) were measured in 72 male epileptic patients on chronic anticonvulsant drug regimes. Sexual activity was estimated and plasma anticonvulsants measured. Total testosterone (TT), LH, FSH, PRL, and SHBG were increased; free testosterone (FT) was decreased. Sexual activity appeared diminished particularly in relation to reduced FT.

对72例接受慢性抗惊厥药物治疗的男性癫痫患者进行了睾酮、促黄体生成素（LH）、促卵泡生成素（FSH）、催乳素（PRL）和性激素结合球蛋白（SHBG）的检测。评估了性活动情况并测定了血浆抗惊厥药物浓度。总睾酮（TT）、LH、FSH、PRL和SHBG升高；游离睾酮（FT）降低。性活动似乎减少，尤其是与FT降低有关。
