Abstract

The simple determination of whole-body retention of the bile acid analogue 75Se-HCAT provides results which are in agreement with those of the established but more difficult measurement of 24-14C-TCA excretion in the feces. Determining whole-body retention of 75Se-HCAT is not only practicable with a whole-body counter but also, with precision, with the more widely used gamma camera. Therefore, the bile acid retention test may be employed wherever there is a gamma camera available.

胆汁酸类似物75硒-同型胆酸全身潴留的简单测定结果,与已确立但更复杂的粪便中24-14C-三氯乙酸排泄量测定结果一致。测定75硒-同型胆酸的全身潴留不仅可以通过全身计数器实现,而且使用更广泛的γ相机也能精确测定。因此,只要有γ相机,就可以进行胆汁酸潴留试验。
