[Morphological and cytochemical differentiation of the rat testis under physiological conditions and after administration of toxic doses of cadmium chloride].

The paper describes morphological and cytochemical changes in rat testis starting with the first day of postnatal life to 1,5 year under physiological conditions and after single intraperitoneal injection of 1,5 mg CdCl2/kg. We have proved that sensitive cells in testis are: spermatogonia B and primary spermatocyte. Maximum morphological and cytochemical changes occur in the testis of 30-60 days old rats and in 15 year old rats following destruction of the testis begins in capillar walls and blod-testis barrier.
