Abstract

Tests evaluating the mean volume of lymphocytic cells and the mean volume of their nuclei were performed using 17 patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. A negative correlation was observed between the values obtained from the measurements of mean volumes of cells and nuclei and the logarithm taken from the number of lymphocytes in 1 mm3 of blood.
