Behaviour modification of eating and exercise can play important roles in the treatment of obesity. Their effectiveness will depend upon the severity of the obesity and the stage of management. Most importantly, these rational adjustments of behaviour, influencing energy intake and output, can be used separately, together or in conjunction with other methods of treatment.
