Abstract
In the presence of complement, antibodies to the LA and Sheridan-83 strains of duck enteritis virus (DEV) were able to lyse DEV-infected duck embryo fibroblasts in 51Cr-release cytotoxicity assays. The role of humoral antibody in protection against DEV infection is discussed.
