[Surgical tactics in cases of foreign bodies of the gastrointestinal tract].

The experiments on 30 dogs and observation over 186 patients suggest that the indications for the operation in case of foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract depend on the shape and size of the foreign body and on the time during which it has been fixed in one place.
