[Some mental factors in sexual sterility and their significance for getting pregnant. I. Development of the partners up to the marriage].

Supplementing earlier reports, the results on testing of the development of the personalities of 75 partners with involuntary infertility are reported. Some partners show correlations to the cause of infertility which support our opinion of the psychosomatic characteristics of infertility. It can be assumed that early influences from the development of the personality prepare for later infertility. The degree of these factors has a bearing on the treatment of the infertility. The pregnancy rate of the different factors investigated is described.
