The neurologic complications of cardiovascular disease.

Many cardiac disorders masquerade as neurologic problems. Differential diagnosis is discussed, as well as common neurologic presentations of cardiovascular disease, particularly stroke syndromes arising from emboli, the multitude of disorders that results in loss of consciousness, and neurologic symptoms and signs caused by cardiac drugs.
