[Effect of fentolamin on carbohydrate-phosphorus metabolic indices of the rat myocardium in the early periods of body growth].

The effect of alpha-adrenoblocking agent phentolamine (1 mg/kg) on the ATP, ADP, AMP, inorganic phosphorus, glycogen in the heart muscle of rats of different age (7,30 and 3 1/2 month old) was investigated. It is shown that the nature of changes in the studied factors testifies to a greater sensitivity of the myocardium to the alpha-adrenergic block at early stages of the post-natal ontogenesis.
