Abstract
We studied families of 30 HLA-B27 positive probands with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and related spondyloarthropathies (SPA) to investigate any possible discordance between B27 allele and disease presence. Among the 100 relatives studied, B27 was present in all 31 relatives affected with AS or SPA. Our results are in agreement with those of other family studies and do not confirm a recent report of existence of high discordance between B27 allele and AS within multiple case families.

我们研究了30名强直性脊柱炎（AS）及相关脊柱关节病（SPA）的HLA - B27阳性先证者的家族，以调查B27等位基因与疾病存在之间是否存在任何可能的不一致情况。在研究的100名亲属中，所有31名患有AS或SPA的亲属均存在B27。我们的结果与其他家族研究结果一致，并未证实最近一份关于多个病例家族中B27等位基因与AS之间存在高度不一致的报告。
