Abstract

Antibody-producing cells were localized in the fat column of adult lamprey previously immunized with 'O'RBC. These cells were visualized using rabbit anti-lamprey antibody antiserum in the peroxidase anti-peroxidase (PAP) immunocytochemical technique. Specificity of the rabbit anti-lamprey antibody antiserum was determined by absorbing the antiserum with 'O'RBC coated with a variety of antibody- and non-antibody-containing serum fractions.
