[Asthma and pregnancy].

Asthma during pregnancy threatens both mother and child. The pregnancy may worsen the asthma, and the asthma may endanger fetal oxygenation. However, by appropriate medical management, which requires careful consideration of the risk-benefit ratio of antiasthmatic drugs, the risk for mother and child can be minimized.
