Diabetes insipidus usually shows a Normo- or Hypernatraemia. In our case, a 21 months old boy, we could contrarily find a hyponatraemic crisis as the leading symptom to our diagnosis. As reason for this we discuss a chronical overhydration with hypotonic liquid and enteral loss of electrolytes.
