The authors emphasize the importance of the extramucosal approach to the septum and the cartilaginous and bony vault in the correction of the crooked nose, for elongation of the pig-snout nose with retracted tip, and for closure of septal perforation. Furthermore, they present their own procedure for surgical treatment of stenoses of the nares as well as for huge tissues losses of the septum.
