The characteristics of the semen of the paraplegic men were studied on 57 examinations of the semen of 21 patients. The technic of ejaculation stimulation had an influence on the volume, which was much more important with vibromassage, and the spermatozoa mobility, which was lower with electrostimulation. The comparison with the semen of a reference population of fertile and infertile men reveals that the diminution of the volume, of the normal forms and specially of the mobility are the main semen characteristics of the paraplegic. All the parameters have higher values in the semen of the fertile paraplegic than in these of the infertile paraplegic.
对21例患者的57份精液样本进行研究，以了解截瘫男性精液的特征。射精刺激技术对精液量有影响，振动按摩时精液量的影响更为显著；对精子活力也有影响，电刺激时精子活力较低。与有生育能力和不育男性的参考群体精液进行比较发现，精液量减少、正常形态精子减少，尤其是精子活力降低是截瘫男性精液的主要特征。所有参数在有生育能力的截瘫男性精液中的值均高于不育截瘫男性精液中的值。
