Abstract
Control of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is one of the immense medical problems facing Zimbabwe. The recent war has seriously disrupted the medical services, which used to be one of the best in Africa. Health care facilities for the STDs are limited, but the enthusiasm and determination of the medical and allied professions--together with the potential wealth of the country--should lead to a steady improvement.

控制性传播疾病是津巴布韦面临的重大医学问题之一。最近的战争严重扰乱了医疗服务，而该国的医疗服务曾是非洲最好的之一。性传播疾病的医疗保健设施有限，但医疗及相关行业的热情和决心——再加上该国潜在的财富——应该会带来稳步改善。
