Instead of filter paper, a fine cotton thread was used. One test consists of 3 or more consecutive measurements. Six patients with Hunt's syndrome were tested with this new method. All of the six showed lacrimal deficiency on the involved side.

使用的不是滤纸，而是细棉线。一项测试包括3次或更多次连续测量。6例亨特综合征患者用这种新方法进行了测试。这6例患者患侧均表现出泪液缺乏。
