Abstract
Viscous gel containing 2.5 mg of PG F2 alpha in 10 ml was locally applied for cervix maturation to 106 primigravidae, prior to termination of pregnancy. Spontaneous abortion occurred to 33 women. Cervix maturation was up to expectation in 66 cases, and it was not in seven cases. Side-effects were of minor importance. The method is considered to be highly suitable for nulliparous women.

在终止妊娠前，将含有2.5毫克前列腺素F2α的粘性凝胶10毫升局部应用于106例初产妇以促进宫颈成熟。33名妇女发生自然流产。66例宫颈成熟达到预期，7例未达预期。副作用不太严重。该方法被认为非常适合未生育过的妇女。
