Abstract
A method for studying the general opsonic function in human neutrophil phagocytosis is proposed. It is based on the estimation of neutrophil metabolic stimulation with heat-killed cells of Serratia marcescens in the presence of an opsonic substrate. The opsonic activity levels have been determined in 44 healthy donors.
