[Tumor field].

Data from the literature "pro" and "contra" the concept of tumor field of Willis are presented. The examples demonstrate the competence of regularities of formal genesis of certain tumors reflected by the concept of the field indicating the necessity of further studies of histo- and morphogenesis of neoplasia from the point of view of this concept.
