A micromethod is described for cultivation of peripheral blood lymphocytes from small laboratory animals (Chinchilla rabbits and inbred white rats) aimed for obtaining metaphasic plates and studying chromosomes. This method allows to study chromosomes of somatic cells (lymphocytes), individually in each animal, for a long time up to its natural death under normal or pathological conditions modelled in the experiment.
