The blood serum ultrafiltration method by means of filters model phi M-01 in anaerobic conditions is suggested. Blood serum is ultrafiltered through synthetic membranes CMI-20 at positive pressures 294kPa to 392kPa and at the temperature 22 degrees C. The membranes CMI-18 and CMI-20 are characterized by high retaining capacity relative to blood albumin and globulin. The separation of protein-free filtrates made it possible to determine the concentration of diffusible calcium and magnesium fractions in blood serum in patients suffering from various forms of glomerulonephritis.
