Systemic sarcoidosis with necrobiosis lipoidica-like scalp lesions.

A 78-year-old woman is described, having systemic sarcoidosis for 15 years, involving the lungs, lymph nodes and the skin. Over the last 6 years she developed a progressive cicatricial alopecia with histologic changes of the granulomatous type of necrobiosis lipoidica surrounded by sarcoid granulomas.
