Abstract
A clinical trial of jejunoileal and gastric bypass in 38 morbidly obese patients is described. The results which led to the decision to discontinue the clinical trial are discussed. Gastric bypass is recommended as the surgical procedure of choice in properly selected patients with morbid obesity.
