[Selected results from a study on the life style of elderly females in a retirement home].

The article deals with the living conditions of 26 women in an old people's home before and after they had moved into the home. The motives for moving into a home and some problems of these people's activities and social contacts in the home are discussed. Then some aspects of the biographies are assessed. The results of the cases are not representative, they do not claim to be comprehensive, they only show tendencies.
