[Concentration of streptomycin and isoniazid in the blood of patients over 50 with pulmonary tuberculosis after administration of the drugs in ultrasonic aerosols].

Patients aged over 50 with pulmonary tuberculosis were treated with streptomycin and isoniazid administered by the routine routes and in the form of ultrasound aerosols. The drug levels in the blood of the patients were studied comparatively. It was shown that administration of the drugs in the form of aerosols provided their sufficiently high blood levels for a long time in patients with a primary diagnosis of the disease. Such levels did not depend on the patients' age and the state of the lung ventilation.
