Abstract
In a chemical industry worker with a history of work-related breathlessness, a bronchial provocation test with para-tert-butylphenol (PTBP) elicited a dual asthmatic reaction. As far as we know, this is the first documentation of occupational asthma due to PTBP. Previously PTBP has been associated with occupational leucoderma.
