HLA typing was performed in three groups of nickel sensitive persons: a) 27 pairs of female monozygous twins, b) 34 pairs of female dizygous twins, c) 51 unrelated females. Persons who had developed hand eczema were considered separately. In none of these groups did the frequencies of HLA antigens differ significantly from those found among the controls. Thus, no confirmation of the earlier results indicating an association between HLA and nickel sensitivity was established.
对三组镍过敏者进行了HLA分型：a）27对女性同卵双胞胎，b）34对女性异卵双胞胎，c）51名无血缘关系的女性。对手部湿疹患者进行了单独研究。在这些组中，HLA抗原的频率与对照组相比均无显著差异。因此，未证实早期表明HLA与镍过敏之间存在关联的结果。
