Sociogenesis is divided into primary sociogenesis (direct connection between social conditions and mental disorders), secondary sociogenesis (indirect connection), and tertiary sociogenesis (social consequences of a disorder according to the degree of acceptance). It has to be interpreted in a system network with organo- and psychogenesis. Social therapy is, according to that, an integration of social work, psychotherapy and pedagogics. Its main instrument is the therapeutic community.
社会发生学分为原发性社会发生学（社会状况与精神障碍之间的直接联系）、继发性社会发生学（间接联系）和第三级社会发生学（根据接受程度而定的障碍的社会后果）。它必须在与器官发生和心理发生的系统网络中进行解释。据此，社会治疗是社会工作、心理治疗和教育学的整合。其主要手段是治疗性社区。
