[Malignant hyperthermia. Present implications in forensic medicine (author's transl)].

Literature about the medicolegal implications of MH incidents has been examined. The authors themselves have observed 11 typical cases of malignant hyperthermia, 4 of which were investigated by the public prosecutor. From the point of view "ex ante" it should be expected that anaesthetists known about the diagnosis, therapy, and preanaesthetic procedures concerning MH.
