Incorporation of [3H]thymidine into newly formed single- and double-stranded kidney DNA fractions isolated from rats of different age has been studied. The conversion of labelled single-stranded DNA into a double-stranded one, a decrease of relative radioactivity of single-stranded DNA and an increase in the specific radioactivity of double-stranded DNA are less intensive in older animals as compared to the adult ones.
对从不同年龄大鼠分离得到的新形成的单链和双链肾脏DNA组分中[3H]胸腺嘧啶核苷的掺入情况进行了研究。与成年动物相比,老年动物中标记的单链DNA向双链DNA的转化、单链DNA相对放射性的降低以及双链DNA比放射性的增加都不那么强烈。
