The experiments on rats have shown that preliminary training of the organism in hypooxygenated respiration at normal atmospheric pressure increases resistance of the heart to its local reversible ischemia. The resistance is ensured by functional reserve expansion of the cardiac activity regulation system in the course of the body preliminary adaptation to hypoxia and its mobilization during myocardial ischemic alterations.
