Abstract

A group of juvenile delinquents, classified as neurotic-disturbed, unsocialized-psychopathic, and socialized-subcultural, were compared on the MMPI. The results provided support for the initial classificaton and yielded MMPI profiles suggestive of two personality types: a conflicted, weak-ego delinquent with considerable intrapsychic conflict, and a more traditional posychopathic type, with little apparent anxiety or neurotic symptomatology. These results were replicated with a cross-validation sample.

一组被归类为神经质-困扰型、未社会化-心理病态型和社会化-亚文化型的青少年罪犯接受了明尼苏达多项人格测验（MMPI）的比较。结果为最初的分类提供了支持，并得出了MMPI剖面图，表明存在两种人格类型：一种是充满冲突、自我薄弱的罪犯，内心冲突相当大；另一种是更传统的心理病态类型，几乎没有明显的焦虑或神经症状。这些结果在交叉验证样本中得到了重复。
