Results of outpatient examination of wood fellers are presented. It has been shown that their work associated with vibration, body cooling and great tension of hand muscles leads to development if vibrational disease which is characterized by polymorphic clinical symptoms (vegetative polyneuritis and vegetomyofasciitis of hands combined with the angiodystonic syndome; peripheral angiodystonic syndrome; degenerative-dystrophic changes in the bones). Clinical manifestations of the earliest forms of the vibrational disease are specified. A set of diagnostic tests is suggested, the use of which is recommended for periodic examinations with the purpose of diagnosing the disease and developing measures for its prevention.
