Content of cytochromes a (a3) was decreased and the ratio c/a/a3/ was increased in rat liver mitochondria depending on animal age. Administration of thyroxine incresased the level of cytochromes. These phenomena were especially distinct in 12- and 24-month old rats. The latent period, manifested as a decrease in body mass, was the characteristic property of the tyroxine effect in the young animals. Age differences in the effect of thyroxine depend also on the dose of the hormone.
大鼠肝脏线粒体中细胞色素a(a3)的含量降低,且c/a/a3/比值随动物年龄增加。甲状腺素的施用增加了细胞色素的水平。这些现象在12个月和24个月大的大鼠中尤为明显。在幼龄动物中,以体重下降为表现的潜伏期是甲状腺素作用的特征性表现。甲状腺素作用的年龄差异也取决于激素剂量。
