Abstract
An unusual case of sudden death in a healthy young man due to an inflammatory pseudotumor (polyp) of the larynx is presented. An indirect laryngoscopy performed in the emergency department or accomplishment of a thorough follow-up ear, nose, and throat examination may have been lifesaving in this patient.

本文报道了一例健康年轻男性因喉部炎性假瘤（息肉）突然死亡的罕见病例。在急诊科进行间接喉镜检查或完成全面的耳鼻喉科检查，可能会挽救该患者的生命。
